Tammy D'ree Koolbeck, M.Ed., LPC Supervisor, NCC is the co-owner of Kool Solutions and has been in the counseling profession since 1998 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor. She accepted her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude, and earned her Master's Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix at the main campus in Phoenix, Arizona.
She attained her LPC license after receiving state board certification from the state of Texas in 2003. There are rigorous standards that an LPC must uphold, assuring clients that they will receive the best counseling possible.
Tammy is now recognized by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC)., along with her many other certifications. She is also a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Certified School Counselor.
Tammy takes an integrative approach specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy, art cinema therapy, acudetox therapy, hypnotherapy, art therapy, and EMDR.
Tammy is an excellent motivational speaker and presenter on many topics related to integrative mental health, counseling, psychotherapy, positive psychology, hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming and life coaching.
Barb Tichelbaut, M.A., M.S., LPC Supervisor, NCC, has been working with Kool Solutions as an independent contractor since early 2008. Barb has been working in the field of education and counseling for the past 20-plus years in various roles including counselor, teacher and school board member. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, a Master of Arts in the field of education from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University. Barb is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Board Certified Counselor, a Certified School Counselor, and a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist. Barb provides counseling to individuals as well as couples and family counseling.
Peggy Keough, M.S, LPC, was a counselor in the Hurst Euless Bedford ISD for several years and retired from HEB in June of 2019. She has been counseling here at Kool Solutions since July of 2019 and takes an eclectic approach while counseling. Peggy is a Licensed Professional Counselor certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. She graduated with a master's degree from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, and completed her Bachelor's Degree at Dallas Baptist University. She is trained in EMDR therapy both virtually and in person. Peggy provides counseling to individuals as well as couples and family counseling.
Dave Koolbeck, C.C.H., is a Certified Clinical Hypnotist and the co-owner of Kool Solutions. Dave serves as business and office manager at Kool Solutions and is a certified professional teacher in the state of Texas. Dave retired from teaching in 2023 with his most recent experience coming from the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District. Dave owns and operates a DJ/karaoke business, Kool Toon Entertainment with his current constant karaoke gig happening at the Dream Taco by Chetra in Bedford, Texas, on Saturday nights. Dave is also a singer and songwriter with several songs streaming on the Internet.
